Residents of South Lake Tahoe! Have you ever been curious about what wheel-throwing is all about?
I am excited to announce that I will be conducting one-on-one lessons open to all levels! In the morning, you will receive a thorough introduction to the techniques I use most, with a focus on efficiency and precision at the wheel. You will be given demonstrations and guidance. Once you feel comfortable in the studio, you will have time to practice on the potter's wheel.
The idea here is to gradually introduce you to the craft. That said, we will cover throwing, trimming, glazing chemistry, different firing techniques, etc. This is my fun job, and I truly enjoy sharing my passion. I will also consider doing lessons with two students simultaneously later on.
